From April 10 to 19, 2026, Termoli's Castello Svevo hosts a solo exhibition by painter Michele Affatato. The show displays previously unseen works that combine historical memory, the landscapes of Capitanata and a bold exploration of color, creating a conversation between medieval architecture and contemporary painting.
The opening event is scheduled for Sunday April 12 at 7:00 PM, with a short poetic reading and a welcome reception. Admission is free and the artist will be present to meet visitors.
This exhibition is part of a wider project that brings Affatato's works through several regional castles, sites shaped by the legacy of Frederick II and later dynasties. The artist, originally from the province of Foggia, has exhibited in national and international contexts and participated in exhibition programs in the United States.
The show is organized with the patronage of the local municipal administration and the Cultural Department of Termoli, highlighting local support for initiatives that enhance art and heritage.
