Autore: Redazione 27/03/2026 11:55

Spring Markets in Caserta (28 March - 6 April 2026)

From 28 March to 6 April 2026 Caserta hosts the Spring Markets, an event showcasing Made in Italy excellence with food stalls, artisan products and street entertainment. The market runs between Piazza Gramsci and Viale Douhet, within walking distance of the Royal Palace of Caserta, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The location next to the Royal Palace makes this an excellent chance to combine a cultural visit to the Bourbon landmark with tasting regional specialties and browsing craftwork.

Practical information

Dates: 28 March - 6 April 2026
Opening hours: continuous from 10:00 to 24:00
Venue: between Piazza Gramsci and Viale Douhet, Caserta

The event is organized by Associazione Italia Eventi with the patronage of the Municipality of Caserta. Coinciding with the national initiative "Sunday at the Museum", the first Sunday of the month may include free admission to state museums and archaeological parks (check official notices before visiting).

What to expect at the markets

  • Gastronomic specialties: cured meats, cheeses, olive oil, wines and regional delicacies such as 'nduja, Apulian taralli, Easter sweets and artisan chocolate.
  • Distinctive local products: Giffoni hazelnuts, Altamura bread, preserved vegetables and olives from Puglia.
  • Handicrafts: ceramics, olive-wood items, jewelry, leather goods, lavender-based products and on-the-spot custom gifts.
  • Tastings and demonstrations: live preparations, guided tastings and themed workshops.

Visitor tips

  • Arrive early to avoid peak crowds and to visit the Royal Palace more quietly.
  • Check parking, pedestrian routes and access arrangements near the Palace before you travel.
  • Carry some cash in addition to cards; some vendors may prefer immediate payments.
  • If planning to visit the Royal Palace, verify opening times and any free-entry provisions under "Sunday at the Museum."
