Melpignano: Borgo Italia inaugurates its headquarters

Borgo Italia launches its new hub in Melpignano with two days dedicated to innovation, entrepreneurship and the sustainable development of historic villages. The hub aims to support residents, administrators and those designing the future of inland areas.

The event is organized in partnership with Vybra Startup Studio and supported by Invitalia; it targets startups, SMEs, third sector organizations, local authorities and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Program overview

• Day 1 – 17 April 2026 (Palazzo Marchesale, Sala Gino Strada)
  • 11:00: institutional greetings and program introduction.
  • 11:30: sessions on funding and business models — contributions from Invitalia and Vybra on grants (Resto al Sud 2.0, Cultura Cresce, Smart&Start, ON) and the Startup Studio approach.
  • 15:00: focus on Artificial Intelligence in public administration with a live demo of VybraOS for document queries and process automation.
  • 16:30–18:30: advisory desk by Invitalia (personalized 20-minute consultation slots).
• Day 2 – 18 April 2026 (Borgo Italia headquarters, Via Vittorio Veneto 17)
  • 09:30: official presentation of the hub and its role for inland innovation.
  • 10:00: Working table on tourism in small villages: integrated territorial strategies (cycle tourism, craft tourism, digital tools and AI).
  • 11:45: “Living the Future” session on digital innovation for inclusive and autonomous housing, with European projects and assistive tools.

Who should attend: tourism operators, local administrators, entrepreneurs, startups, third sector organizations and citizens committed to local regeneration.

The agenda includes hands-on workshops, co-design sessions and free help desks to guide participants on funding opportunities, project design and digital solutions for village revitalization.
