Improvisation — Performance in Monteleone d'Orvieto

An evening dedicated to improvisation as an immediate creative act: movement, sound and painting meet in a participatory experience designed to create beauty and community in a shared space.

The project focuses on performance practice as a field of experimentation, where performers follow the unexpected and the audience becomes a co-creator of the event.

Artists and contributors

• Marion Dieterle — dancer, choreographer, teacher and painter; investigates corporeality in contemporary social spaces and coordinates artist residencies.
• Valentina Lupi — painter and dancer, graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna; works between Arezzo and Milan with national and international exhibition experience.
• Michele Marchesani — musician, dancer and movement researcher; uses the creative process as a means of expression and wellbeing.

The venue, converted from an old mechanic workshop, hosts workshops, talks, concerts and performances, along with a specialized library and textile art archives. The event is conceived as an exchange: attendees contribute to the creative energy of the place.
