Exhibition overview

This show examines the artist’s book as a singular artwork where text, image, paper and colour form an integrated project. Curated by Simona Ciofetta and part of the "Subiaco, Capitale Italiana del Libro 2025" programme (scientific coordinator Stefano Petrocchi), the exhibition features a selection of Guido Strazza’s artist’s books and engravings, showcasing his contribution to modern Italian printmaking.

Highlights

  • Unique and limited-edition artist’s books in which literary and visual elements create a unified composition.
  • A focused section of engravings that resonates with the Cosmatesque patterns in the cloister of the Monastery of Santa Scolastica.
  • Biographical and documentary material tracing key phases of Strazza’s graphic and typographic research.
