Le Vie delle Foto: Trieste becomes an open-air gallery

The 14th edition of Le Vie delle Foto continues in Trieste, transforming the city centre into a network of outdoor exhibitions and activating a month of photographic displays across historic and everyday spaces.

On Saturday 11 April guided tours return, among the festival’s most popular initiatives: two routes are scheduled to introduce the public to the shows and the photographers featured in the 2026 edition.

• Tour times: morning 10:00–12:30; afternoon 16:00–18:30.
• Festival length: one month of dispersed exhibitions across the city centre.
• Exhibition venues: historic cafés, shops, restaurants, galleries and iconic urban spaces.
• Participants: over one hundred photographers from Italy and abroad are involved in the programme.

Founded in 2011, Le Vie delle Foto has become an established reference for contemporary photography in Italy thanks to its collective spirit and its ability to weave connections between artists, residents and local businesses. The festival promotes slow cultural tourism, inviting visitors to discover the city through diverse visual narratives and spontaneous encounters.
