The House of Emotions: a sensory journey for families

From April 18 to 26 Forum Palermo hosts The House of Emotions, an immersive, multisensory route designed for children and parents. The installation features themed rooms and digital setups that help young visitors identify and name feelings—joy, fear, anger, shyness, anxiety and boredom—through playful activities.

What to expect

  • Venue: Forum Palermo, Piazza Fashion.
  • Dates: April 18 - 26, 2026.
  • Access: free visits but only by reservation via the mall's official app.
  • Groups: up to 15 people per session to ensure a safe and engaging experience.
  • Accessibility: content designed to be inclusive for children with special educational needs, in collaboration with Edizioni Erickson.

Workshops and opening hours

On weekdays the route is available in the afternoon; during weekends the experience is enhanced by playful-educational workshops led by experts, intended to explore emotions creatively and interactively. A photo opportunity is available at the end of the visit.

  • Opening hours:
    • Monday to Friday: 15:30 – 20:30
    • Saturday and Sunday: 10:30 – 12:30 / 15:30 – 20:30

Practical tips for families

  • Book in advance through the center's app to secure a spot: sessions are limited to 15 participants.
  • Dress children in comfortable clothes: the route is interactive and involves movement and participation.
  • Take advantage of weekend workshops for hands-on activities and discussions with experts.
