Kriptòs: contemporary art in the crypt of Santa Maria a Gradillo (Ravello)

From 28 March to 28 June 2026, the exhibition "Kriptòs: beauty, dream, mystery" is open to the public in the underground space of the crypt of Santa Maria a Gradillo. The free-entry show presents a curated route where contemporary works engage directly with the historic architecture.

The project, endorsed by the Municipality of Ravello and organized by Bellarte, is curated by Angelo Criscuoli. The installation is designed to highlight the crypt's historical layers, dating back to the 11th century, reactivating the site as a living cultural venue.

Exhibition highlights:

• Approximately 40 works, including paintings and sculptures.
• An installation that creates a dialogue between contemporary languages and the hypogeal setting.
• Works aimed at prompting existential reflection and sensory engagement.
