From April 11 to May 24, 2026 the Museo di Roma at Palazzo Braschi presents It’s Happening Again, a solo exhibition by Adrian Tranquilli. The show includes three newly created installations that examine the figure of the antihero and use cinematic and cultural references to explore instability and power.
The exhibition route is structured around three large-scale pieces investigating identity, reality and play:
Tranquilli draws on a broad cultural palette—art, music, literature and anthropology. In this exhibition, comic-book imagery and cinematic echoes (including references to filmmakers like Kubrick and Lynch) combine with the artist’s recurring use of playing-card structures as symbols of political and historical instability.
Check the museum’s official channels before your visit for updated hours, ticketing details or temporary changes. The exhibition is also an opportunity to explore Palazzo Braschi’s historic rooms and civic collections.
