It’s Happening Again: Adrian Tranquilli at Museo di Roma

From 11 April to 24 May 2026, the Museo di Roma – Palazzo Braschi hosts It’s Happening Again, a solo exhibition by Adrian Tranquilli. The show brings together three new installations that explore identity, power and cinematic references tied to the figure of the antihero.

The works on display

• My Little White Book (2026) – a large wall-mounted book with an explosive visual effect suggesting instability and discontinuity.
• Endsong (2025) – a totemic, monolithic sculpture evoking cinematic atmospheres and visual narrative.
• In Excelsis 6 (2024) – the final piece of the triptych, focused on themes of identity and knowledge.

Context and themes

Tranquilli draws on sources such as comics, cinema, music and anthropology. In this exhibition, cinematic imagery and graphic-novel references converge with symbolic "house of cards" structures that comment on the precariousness of power and collective history.
