Infiorata di Noto 2026: the baroque town in bloom

From 15 to 19 May 2026 the historic center of Noto is transformed into a route of floral artworks and outdoor installations. In its 47th edition, the Infiorata blends the town's baroque heritage with contemporary creativity, using more than 400,000 petals and a floral carpet of about 700 m² along Via Nicolaci.

What to see

Main streets, especially Via Nicolaci, host large floral designs inspired by 20th-century languages: music, cinema, comics and fashion. Contemporary art pieces are installed alongside the floral carpets, creating a dialogue with the baroque architecture.

Key program highlights

• 15 May, 15:00 – inauguration with performances by local Musici and Sbandieratori near Porta Reale, Piazza Municipio and Via Nicolaci.
• 15 May, evening – concert in Piazza Municipio by the Francesca Franchini Band.
• 17 May, 15:00 – baroque procession with period costumes.
• 17 May, 21:00 – "Pop Symphony Icons" concert featuring symphonic pop suites.
• In the following days visitors can walk the route to admire the ephemeral floral compositions.

Featured works include site-specific installations such as Carlo Coniglio's "Pop Saves the World" on Via Fratelli Bandiera and an artwork inspired by Roy Lichtenstein by Emilio Ruggeri on Via Mariannina Coffa, complementing the floral route with contemporary art.
