“Food and School Experience” underway at Villa Mauriello

On April 28 Villa Mauriello in Frattamaggiore hosts the Food and School Experience, a training and food-culture event aimed at promoting Made in Italy by connecting hospitality schools, companies and industry professionals.

Main objectives:

• Enhance local and national culinary traditions;
• Promote collaboration between schools and businesses in the sector;
• Develop students' practical, relational and intercultural skills.

Audience: students and teachers from hospitality institutes, chefs and food professionals, companies in the food and wine sector, international delegations and tourism/hospitality stakeholders.

Day programme (8:30–19:00):

• Exhibition area with company stands presenting products and technologies;
• Masterclasses and hands-on labs led by national and international chefs;
• Thematic workshops, tastings and B2B meetings to build school-business networks;
• Official opening, expert talks and final awards.

The event uses digital tools for promotion and registration and is designed as an experiential learning opportunity compatible with PCTO pathways. Expected outcomes include greater visibility for local products, stronger school-industry ties and enhanced formative opportunities for students.
