Reinstalled in February 2026, the Museum of Italian Design is on view at Triennale Milano during Milano Design Week. The exhibition route, curated by Marco Sammicheli and Marilia Pederbelli with installation design by Roberto Giusti, features key objects from the museum's permanent collection.
The new arrangement places objects in dialogue with the cultural, industrial and social contexts in which they were designed and produced, offering both historical and contemporary perspectives on Italian design.
The museum is designed to be welcoming and accessible: with advice from specialist organizations, a range of tools supports visitors with different needs.
The route is intended for a wide audience: design enthusiasts, students, families and visitors with special needs. The installation encourages reflection on the role of objects in daily life and on how design has shaped everyday behavior.
The reinstallation was completed in February 2026 and the report is dated 15 April 2026. For information on opening times, tickets and guided visits, check the official Triennale Milano website.
