Giovane Fotografia Italiana 2026: “Voci / Voices”

The 13th edition of the Giovane Fotografia Italiana | Premio Luigi Ghirri presents the group exhibition “Voci / Voices”, featuring seven finalist projects chosen from over 300 submissions. Curated by Ilaria Campioli and Daniele De Luigi, the show highlights a diverse panorama of Italian photography by artists under 35, ranging from documentary practice to formal experimentation.

What to see

The exhibition examines the idea of “voices” through works that address:

• human and non-human relationships;
• collective memory and conservation practices;
• migration and material traces of the Mediterranean;
• ecological crises and mourning processes.

The pieces create a polyphonic view of contemporary issues, juxtaposing different visual languages and perspectives.

Events and award ceremony

The program includes a guided tour led by artists and curators on Sunday, May 3 at 11:00, followed by the award ceremony at 12:30. The Premio Luigi Ghirri grants €4,000 to the winner and the opportunity for a solo show at Triennale Milano. Additional recognitions include special mentions and international residency or exhibition opportunities.
