International Museum Houses Days: open days in Giulianova and Casalincontrada

On 18 and 19 April 2026 museum houses around the world welcome visitors to explore the homes and workplaces of notable figures. In the Abruzzo region, the Pinacoteca civica - Casa museo Vincenzo Bindi (Giulianova, TE) and Villa De Lollis (Casalincontrada, CH) are participating.

How to participate: reservations are managed via www.casedellamemoria.it and are open until 15 April; some events require mandatory booking.

• Pinacoteca civica - Casa museo “Vincenzo Bindi” (Giulianova, TE)

  Date: 19 April 2026. Free guided tours titled "Rooms of Art" at 10:30 and 17:00 (entrance with the Polo Museale combined ticket). Children's workshop "Vincenzo Bindi in comics" (recommended from age 6, approx. 90 minutes). Booking required.

• Villa De Lollis (Casalincontrada, CH)

  Dates and times: 18 and 19 April 2026. The Cesare De Lollis Cultural Center will present the film "Cesare de Lollis, man from Casalincontrada, man of the world", the permanent family exhibition and reading sessions. Indicative opening hours: Saturday 18 April 16:00-19:00; Sunday 19 April 10:00-13:00 and 16:00-19:00.

The International Days bring together over 400 museum houses worldwide (more than 150 in Italy) to promote cultural memory and encourage exchange between places and communities. The programme includes small homes, artist studios, grand villas and other sites linked to notable figures in arts, letters, science and history.
