National Day of Historic Houses: free visits in the Salerno area

When: Sunday 24 May 2026 — free entry all day. The event is part of the 16th National Day of Historic Houses, with more than twenty private sites opening across Campania.

2026 theme: "Custodians of the future. A living heritage for shared value" — a call to collective responsibility for protecting private historical and architectural heritage.

Seven openings are scheduled in the Salerno area. The visits offer access to palaces, villas and residences often outside standard tourist routes, providing a chance to learn about lesser-known historical and architectural features.
