Presented during Milan Design Week, Turning Tables is Frette's latest table collection, developed in collaboration with designer Tara Bernerd. The range pairs cotton-linen blends with polished walnut elements and printed leather coasters, proposing a modern take on table setting and conviviality.
The collection emphasizes refined color palettes, geometric edges and signature patterns that highlight Frette's Italian craftsmanship; textiles are positioned as defining elements of atmosphere and domestic style.
Alongside the collection launch, Frette is renovating its historic headquarters to establish a museum focused on the textile industry. The plan aims to turn the company's heritage into an accessible, immersive exhibition space, with the historical archive serving as a core feature.
The Turning Tables collection is on display at the flagship store on Via Manzoni. For visiting hours, access rules and announcements about the museum opening, check the brand's official channels.
For museums and cultural institutions, the initiative is an example of how corporate archives can be converted into museum content, promoting textile culture and sustainable conservation practices.
