Frascaro in Fiore: 25th edition of the regional fair

This long-running floriculture event marks the start of the spring season in the Alessandria area. The 2026 edition celebrates the fair's 25th anniversary and features an expanded market, cultural exhibits and musical performances.

Side events

The program includes musical performances, featuring the Fuck Cancer Choir, and cultural appointments: an exhibition of antique rural objects in the town hall and the monologue "Pollici verdi" by David Zonta at the library. A drawing contest for the nearby Borgoratto primary school is also scheduled.

Regional and provincial representatives are expected to attend, helping to highlight the local products and the area's cultural heritage.

Charity dinner

Ahead of the fair, a charity dinner will take place on 9 April at the "Alli Due Buoi Rossi" restaurant in Alessandria. Proceeds will go to the non-profit Rose Gialle, which supports initiatives against violence toward women and assistance for school-age children. Commemorative plaques will be presented to the fair's founders during the evening.

Practical tips

The event suits a wide audience: families, gardening enthusiasts and local product lovers. Last year nearly 10,000 visitors attended, so arriving early in the morning is recommended to comfortably visit the stalls. The fair is organized by the Municipality of Frascaro with support from regional and local institutions.
