A retrospective dedicated to Francesco Vaccarone, the Ligurian artist who articulated his thought through painting, printmaking and sculpture. The show highlights the relationship between figure and space, memory and the urban landscape during the years 1970–1976.
The exhibited works emphasize Vaccarone’s incisive mark-making and his exploration of tensions between exterior urban spaces and inner landscapes. The project was initiated by the artist’s family and produced by the cultural association Startè.
Check opening hours and admission fees on the hosting institution’s official website before planning your visit. The exhibition provides a valuable perspective on Roman art of the 1970s and Vaccarone’s contribution to that scene.
