From April 12 to July 19, 2026, a programme of events returns to showcase the Tiber mouth and the coastal areas near Ostia Antica. The initiative blends environment, history, art and navigation across 15 free days designed for outdoor enthusiasts and anyone interested in this lesser-known natural area.

What to expect

Each event day features a mix of exhibitions, guided walks and boat experiences:

• Outdoor itinerant art and photography exhibitions opening at 17:00;
• Guided walks in the Riserva Naturale Statale del Litorale Romano, meeting at 17:30;
• Boat excursion along the river mouth, circumnavigation of the islet and exit to the sea: boarding at 18:00, departure at 18:15 and return around 20:00 (approx. duration 1 hour 45 minutes).
