Castelluccio di Norcia Bloom 2026: what to expect

Guided walks for the 2026 bloom are organized during these intervals:

• 20 June - 30 June 2026: morning walks 09:30–13:30 and afternoon walks 15:00–19:00.
• 1 July - 5 July 2026: morning walks 09:30–13:30 and afternoon walks 15:00–19:00.

Local guides provide insights on plant species, recommended routes and rules to reduce impact on the habitat.

How to get there and logistics

• By car: Castelluccio is reached via provincial roads; expect parking areas and shuttle services during peak periods. Check for seasonal road closures.
• Parking: use designated parking lots and avoid stopping on cultivated fields; follow staff instructions on site.
• Accessibility: parts of the plateau are flat but surrounding trails can be uneven. Lightweight hiking shoes are recommended.
