Liberation Day in Cerveteri: schedule for April 25, 2026

On April 25 Cerveteri marks Liberation Day with official ceremonies, cultural events and opportunities for public participation. The municipality encourages residents, especially young people and local groups, to join the day's initiatives.

Schedule

• 09:15 - Assembly in Piazza Risorgimento for the authorities' procession.
• 09:30 - Mass at Chiesa Santa Maria Maggiore.
• Shortly after - Official ceremony at the War Memorial (Piazza Aldo Moro) with wreath-laying, speeches and a performance by the Gruppo Bandistico Cerite.
• Following the ceremony - Opening of "LiberArt" in Piazza Santa Maria: a collective exhibition with over one hundred artists, live performances, music and a vintage car display.
• 12:00 - Kite Festival on Campo di Mare beach at the Da Ezio – La Torretta venue, organized by Auser Cerveteri.
• 17:30 - Granarone Council Chamber: ANPI Cerveteri - Ladispoli hosts the debate "Our future is in the Constitution! For peace and international law".
