Hike to Montemarcello Botanical Garden: flora, history and sweeping views

A guided walk designed for nature lovers who want to explore the Montemarcello promontory’s plants and landscape while enjoying outstanding views. The activity “Reading Nature” follows a circular route that combines local history, botany and landscape observation.

The walk passes through Mediterranean scrub habitats with stops to observe local biodiversity. At the Botanical Garden participants will take part in a mobile workshop to learn how to identify common shrub and herb species and practical landscape-reading skills.

Required gear: trekking boots, water. Recommended: trekking poles.
