On Wednesday 13 May 2026 at 17:15, the "Gilda Trisolini" Library inside Palazzo Alvaro in Reggio Calabria hosts a lecture dedicated to two pivotal figures of Calabrian archaeology: Umberto Zanotti Bianco and Paolo Orsi. The event traces the research, excavations and institutional initiatives that led to the establishment of the National Archaeological Museum and to the promotion of fieldwork in southern Italy.
