Cuneo Mountain Festival 2026: four days between city and mountains

The fourth edition of the Cuneo Mountain Festival focuses on the relationship between urban life and the highlands. The theme "sconfini" encourages rethinking borders and stereotypes of mountain territories through educational and hands-on experiences, aimed at trekking and outdoor enthusiasts.

Main program

• Talks and conferences: discussions on mountain education, alpine architecture and cross-border projects.
• Screenings: previews and tributes to mountain cinema.
• Athlete sessions: testimonies from alpine sport and trail running protagonists.
• Exhibitions: displays on historic routes and the fortifications of the Maritime Alps.
• Alpine Village: Saturday 16 May (10:00-18:00) and Sunday 17 May (9:30-18:00) on Via Roma — meeting place with mountain associations and operators.
• Shows and performances: stand-up comedy, live podcasts and public events in the main squares.

Off events and workshops

Before the official opening there are off-program events and hands-on workshops. For example, the writing workshop "Di cosa parliamo quando parliamo di storie" by Davide Longo takes place at Casa del Fiume on Saturday 9 May (10:00-13:00 and 14:00-18:00) and Sunday 10 May (10:00-13:00). Some workshops require payment and have limited places.
