Cremona Contemporanea Art Week 2026: contemporary art across the city

When: May 23–31, 2026 · Where: Cremona (multiple venues in the historic centre)

The fourth edition brings a wide-ranging visual arts programme into historic buildings and unconventional urban sites: site-specific installations, performances, video works and participatory projects designed to engage with the city's artistic heritage.

What to expect

Expect site-specific commissions created for different settings, from theatres and churches to a bunker and reopened monasteries. The exhibition languages include industrial-material sculptures, environmental installations, video and performance.

Organisation and artistic direction

The event is produced by NOT Titled YET with the patronage of the Cremona Tourism and Events Department, Regione Lombardia and local Chambers of Commerce. Rossella Farinotti is the artistic director, supported by curators Valeria Mancinelli, Gioele Melandri, Gianluca Ranzi and Saverio Verini.

Venues and exhibition route

The programme is spread across the city to highlight historic architecture and urban spaces. Main venues include:

This edition introduces a historical selection of Giò Pomodoro works placed in dialogue with contemporary research. Side programmes include talks, participatory installations and site-specific interventions involving local institutions and academies.
