The Museum of Bergamo Stories presents the latest volume in the "Mille storie" series: Con Garibaldi. Objects and stories of the volunteers from the City of the Thousand (Nomos Editions, 2026) by Lia Corna and Enrico Francia. The book recounts the Risorgimento through personal objects of Garibaldian volunteers preserved in the museum's collections.
A highlight of the evening will be the engraved table bearing the names of the volunteers who fought alongside Garibaldi, shown publicly for the first time. The presentation also focuses on the personal stories of three notable figures from Bergamo: Gabriele Camozzi, Francesco Cucchi and Francesco Nullo, linking local memories to national history.
