Clusone has introduced lightweight cardboard virtual reality viewers that enable an immersive tour of the historic center using a smartphone. The initiative aims to highlight the town's landmarks while making the territory easier to explore for a wider audience.

How the virtual tour works

By placing a smartphone inside the viewer, users can access 360° panoramas and 3D models of the town's points of interest. The virtual route takes visitors past the Palazzo Comunale, the MAT – Museum of Art and Time and the famous Fanzago Planetary Clock, with contextual information available at each stop.

Practical information

The viewers were developed with a digital communication studio and are available at the Visit Clusone infopoint for approximately €13. The project is funded through cultural inclusion itinerary funds and is part of the municipality's broader strategy to promote accessible, sustainable and innovative tourism in the Val Seriana.
