Ceneri e luce: international group exhibition at the Paleochristian Basilicas of Cimitile

From 11 to 26 April 2026, the Complesso Monumentale delle Basiliche Paleocristiane in Cimitile presents the group exhibition "Ceneri e luce: cromie di pace in terra di santi". Promoted by the Fondazione Premio Cimitile and the Municipality of Cimitile and curated by Nartwork aps, the show explores themes of ending and rebirth, darkness and revelation through contemporary works.

The exhibition features 27 international artists selected from over 200 submissions. Each artwork is accompanied by a QR code providing the artist's reflections and an interpretation of the work.

Curators and partners

The exhibition is promoted by the Fondazione Premio Cimitile and the Municipality of Cimitile, with support from the Campania Region and the Metropolitan City of Naples. Curators: Rossella Bellan and Antonietta Panico (Nartwork aps), in collaboration with art historian Gianpasquale Greco.
