Carla Viparelli: "Terra Fragile" at Galleria Port’Alba

Galleria Port’Alba in Naples presents "Terra Fragile", a solo exhibition by Carla Viparelli curated by Federica Di Lorenzo. The show offers a contemplative route exploring the relationship between humans and nature, with emphasis on materiality, traces and layered surfaces as carriers of memory.

Vernissage: Thursday, 28 May 2026, 18:30

Exhibition period: 28 May – 1 October 2026

Venue: Galleria Port’Alba, Via Port’Alba 30, Naples

Curator: Federica Di Lorenzo

Why visit

  • The works turn the exhibition space into a research laboratory addressing beauty and environmental responsibility.
  • A slow, attentive viewing is encouraged: wooden surfaces, marks and fragments actively narrate time and memory.
  • Recommended for visitors interested in exhibitions that combine tactile language with ethical reflection.

Works and approach

The show features triptychs and panels that reference sacred, philosophical and natural motifs. Viparelli often employs reclaimed wood and mixed materials, integrating the support into the visual discourse.
