Campo dei Girasoli: family weekend with nature, creativity and sustainability

The park offers a program for families and children, including a petting farm, hands-on workshops, live music and a sustainable market promoting reuse and local goods.

• Saturday, 9 May

  At 17:00 the farm area opens: children can meet small farm animals (including the goat Puccia, Pecoro and little Etta), explore a developing vegetable garden and join short guided walks in small groups.

  The Città degli Asini team will present activities for Animal-Assisted Interventions (I.A.A.), aimed at promoting wellbeing through safe, structured contact with animals.

  An art workshop for children aged 5–11, led by artist Manuel Scano Larrazábal, will provide a playful, gestural-art experience with A4 paper and markers. Sessions: 17:00 (ages 5–7) and 18:00 (ages 8–11).

  The evening features live acoustic music by Butch & Carlito (Carlo De Bei and Alessandro Baccelle), with a set spanning rockabilly and doo-wop classics from the 1950s–60s.

• Sunday, 10 May

  From 11:00 enjoy Discolazione, a daytime party concept with music, dancing, coffee and homemade cakes in a relaxed daytime atmosphere. DJs include Rought Tough, Soultrain and Boogalele.

  The Girasoli Market runs 10:00–19:00 and showcases second-hand goods, upcycled and handmade items, and km0 products. New for 2026: a free yoga session on the lawn at 11:00 and an upcycling fashion show at 16:00 curated by Sara De Poli ("Addosso"), with items available for purchase after the presentation.

Practical tips: bring water, comfortable clothes for children and a blanket for the grass. Activities are family-focused and suitable for various ages.
