Marnate hosts Bee Happy, a family-oriented event combining education, hands-on workshops and outdoor activities to raise awareness about the importance of bees for biodiversity.

When: Friday 8 May 2026 (evening) and Sunday 10 May 2026 (10:00–18:00).

Where: Marnate town council chamber and the festival area at Viale Lombardia 807.

• Friday 8 May, 20:45 – public talk "The fantastic world of bees" with beekeeper Davide Pedrotti to learn about honey, wax and beekeeping curiosities.
• Sunday 10 May, 10:00–18:00 – "Bee Happy – A day immersed in nature" at the festival area: floral displays and exhibitions of works by local schools.
• Creative workshops for children focused on flowers and "seed bombs", organized by the CDD.
• Space dedicated to the beekeeper with information on hive products.
• Plant cutting exchange/gift area and the State Police's blue bus on-site.
• A pathway for youngsters to try activities as a "little civil protection volunteer".
• Refreshment point run by the Pro Loco or the option to have a packed lunch on the festival lawn.
