Bosa has been selected for the regional Turismo dei Borghi initiative and will benefit from a €2.5 million fund spread over three years. The programme focuses on enhancing the historic core and strengthening the town's appeal through heritage conservation and improved visitor services.
The funding supports five main measures aimed at improving the cultural and tourist offer:
The measures aim to make Bosa more accessible and attractive to national and international visitors. Improved lodging options and digital tools will simplify trip planning and support year-round cultural activities, helping to reduce seasonality.
Funding will be released through a framework agreement that will enable project implementation in the coming administrative phases; works are planned across a three-year timespan. The interventions are designed to complement the existing initiatives along the Itinerary of the 7 Royal Cities, ensuring territorial synergy.
Local authorities stress that Bosa’s inclusion reflects the town's high-quality historical and landscape assets. Investments will prioritize heritage conservation, sustainable services and territorial marketing strategies to strengthen Bosa’s reputation as a quality destination.
