"Arezzo Nascosta" brings music into lesser-known historic sites: the opening event takes place in the monumental Hall of Justice at the Episcopal Palace, decorated with frescoes by Teofilo Torri around 1608. The initiative combines guided visits to monumental heritage with concerts designed to highlight historical spaces.
The vocal ensemble Vox Cordis, conducted by Lorenzo Donati, presents the programme "Amor Verace", spanning sacred and madrigalian repertoires with works by Monteverdi, Palestrina, Bruckner, Poulenc, Javier Busto, Miklós Kocsár and pieces by Donati. The concert dialogue connects early polyphony and contemporary writing, performed by female and mixed choirs.
The guided tour of the Hall of Justice explores the fresco cycle dedicated to the seven deadly sins and scenes from the Old Testament, contextualizing the musical performance within the site's artistic significance. After the concert there will be a guided tasting of local wines led by sommelier Steve Agnoletti in collaboration with AIS Arezzo.
