Aperto Italia in Milan: a day to discuss contemporary art

When: Saturday, 18 April 2026, 11:30–19:30. Where: Palazzo Galbani, Milan. Part of Paris Internationale (18–21 April).

The Nicola Trussardi Foundation presents Aperto Italia, a full-day series of conversations aimed at artists, curators, critics and cultural operators to examine the current condition of contemporary art in Italy. The initiative fosters open discussion on institutional, economic and critical factors that affect artistic production and promotion.

Format and schedule

The program runs as an eight-hour marathon (11:30–19:30) with back-to-back sessions where invited artists both present their work and interrogate the practical conditions of practicing art in Italy.
