From March 12 to 14 the cloister of the municipal palace in Agrigento will host the exhibition "Ancient Values", a curated display highlighting Sicilian traditions, popular arts and cultural symbols. The event forms part of the Mandorlo in fiore program (78th edition) and aims to promote the island's intangible heritage through objects, images and historical narratives.
The exhibition is designed as a meeting point between past and present, aimed at residents, visitors, enthusiasts and school groups. In addition to the display, educational activities and a cultural walk for primary school students will be held to introduce participants to key sites of the historic centre.
Organisers state the initiative aims to pass on a sense of belonging and respect for local roots to younger generations, promoting awareness of the traditions that shape the community's identity.
For more information about educational programs or specific requests, contact the event organisers via the official event listings.
