Souls of Crystal: Silvia Mariotti’s Solo Exhibition at Rivafiorita

On April 4 at 17:30, Rivafiorita (viale della Vittoria) hosts the opening of Souls of Crystal, a solo exhibition by artist Silvia Mariotti. Curated by Matilde Galletti and promoted by Karussell APS, the show presents a body of work born from a two-year research project conducted between Italy and Portugal.

The project draws on Mariotti's experience in the Azores: the volcanic landscapes and rich biodiversity served as a starting point to investigate the relationship between organic and inorganic matter and to question human roles in environmental transformation processes.

The exhibition is supported by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture through the Italian Council, and features installations and works that explore materiality, stratification and processes of change.
