From 20 March to 20 June 2026 the Crédit Agricole Gallery presents an exhibition dedicated to Andy Warhol's activities and projects developed in Italy. The display highlights works produced for Italian contexts and includes photographs and documents that shed light on the artist's relationship with the country.
The exhibition centers on three main cities: Milan, Naples and Turin. On display are well-known series and lesser-known cycles, including works inspired by The Last Supper and a body of work focused on Vesuvius, born from Warhol's response to local events and social changes.
The show reveals how Warhol combined journalism, history and symbolic imagery—religious and political—within his practice. Paintings and silkscreens are complemented by archival documents and photographs that contextualize his Italian collaborations, along with selected pieces from the bank's collection that enter into a dialogue with the artist's work.
Allow about 45–60 minutes for an unhurried visit and add time if you join a guided tour. As entry is free, weekends—especially afternoons—may be busier. For the latest information on guided tours, special events or timetable changes, check the gallery’s official channels before your visit.
