AMAB 2026: Assisi Art and Antiques Exhibition – 51st edition in Bastia Umbra

From 24 April to 3 May 2026 the Umbria Fiere exhibition centre in Bastia Umbra hosts AMAB, the long-standing fair that brings together antiques, modern and contemporary art, design and jewellery. The event fosters dialogue between historical and contemporary practices.

What to see

• Exhibitions: traditional antiques, modern and contemporary art, design, graphic art and jewellery.
• Nuvolo (Giorgio Ascani): curated by Bruno Corà, about 15 works including serigraphs and pieces from the Genesi and OIGROIG cycles.
• Tita Tegano theatrical costumes: a selection of some 15 stage costumes from the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale di Spoleto collection.
• Works by Lorenzo Fonda: recent pieces including "Un Grido per la pace" and "Captcha / Cieche speranze".
• AMAB OFF: off-site initiatives with immersive installations and shows in historical locations across the territory.

• 26 April: "Pace e A.I." (Peace and A.I.), conversation with Mons. Vincenzo Paglia and Lorenzo Fonda.
• 27 April: presentation of "Natura Santa d'Avanguardia" with Andrea Baffoni.
• 28 April: talk by Alessandro Delpriori on "Le immagini di Francesco".
• 29 April: concert dedicated to Rigoletto, organised by the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale di Spoleto.
• 30 April: "Giotto and Saint Francis. A revolution in 14th-century Umbria" with Costantino d'Orazio and Veruska Picchiarelli.
• 2 May: Bruno Corà presents a focus on Nuvolo.
• 3 May: closing ceremony and award for Best Exhibition Design.

Off-site shows and experiences

Highlights outside the fair include the immersive experience "Cum tucte le tue creature" at Auditorium Sant'Angelo, the exhibition "Da me a te" at Palazzo del Capitano del Perdono in Santa Maria degli Angeli featuring 15 painters and sculptors, site-specific performances at Rocca Maggiore in Assisi, and shows such as Groowa Circus and the ballet "Creature Divine".
