AIGU Abruzzo: call for new members

The Abruzzo regional chapter of the Italian Association of Youth for UNESCO (AIGU) has opened a call to recruit new members. Applications are accepted until 15 May 2026 at 12:00. This is an opportunity to join a national network of young people promoting culture, education and heritage, and to play an active role in organizing the Italian Youth Forum 2027, which will be hosted in Abruzzo for the first time.

Who can apply

  • Young people aged 18 to 34;
  • Citizens of the Italian Republic or any United Nations member state;
  • Those motivated to work on communication, cultural project design, event management and heritage promotion.

Benefits of joining

Becoming a member of AIGU Abruzzo provides access to training courses, thematic webinars and practical opportunities to build skills in cultural management and heritage promotion. Members also join a national network of around 300 young volunteers and gain access to partnerships with cultural institutions.

Role in the Italian Youth Forum 2027

Abruzzo will host the Italian Youth Forum in 2027: a major event bringing together young members, experts and institutions. New members will be involved in organizational tasks spanning communication, logistics and cultural programming.

How to apply

  • The call is open now and closes on 15 May 2026 at 12:00;
  • Full requirements and the application notice are available on the official website: aiguofficial.it;
  • For direct contact with the regional group: [email protected].

This opportunity is ideal for those willing to contribute to promoting Italy's cultural and intangible heritage while gaining hands-on experience in cultural event management and communication.
