The FAI presents a compact exhibition devoted to Adolfo Wildt at Villa Necchi Campiglio, opening as part of Milano Art Week. The show originated from a practical situation: the temporary loan of a key work elsewhere prompted a collaborative rethinking of the villa’s displays.
Exhibition concept
The installation juxtaposes works from museums and private collections to highlight Wildt’s stylistic development, from his early realistic approach to the more symbolic and spiritual phases. The four selected sculptures are integrated into the villa’s rooms, preserving the domestic museum atmosphere characteristic of FAI projects.
