On Saturday 9 May the Rudiae Archaeological Park, a short drive from Lecce, will host a guided visit lasting about one hour designed to make the site accessible and engaging for a wide audience.
The event combines archaeological interpretation, inclusive services and multimedia tools to present the main historical phases of the ancient settlement.
The guided route highlights Rudiae's key phases: a Messapian settlement (7th century BC) later Romanized (3rd century BC). The itinerary leads to the Roman amphitheatre, dated to the era of Trajan (98–117 AD). Rudiae is also known as the birthplace of the poet Quintus Ennius (239–169 BC).
For reservations and further details, please consult the official communications of the Rudiae Archaeological Park.
