Between Preservation and Innovation: a talk at Museo RISO

On Friday 17 April 2026 at 18:00, Museo RISO in Palermo hosts the second appointment of the series "Cantiere Cultura e del Contemporaneo. Ideas, experiences and visions on today's society", focusing on the relationship between institutions and contemporary art.

The event brings together institutional figures, curators and sector professionals to explore cultural policies, heritage safeguarding and current market dynamics affecting contemporary art.

    • Alessia Cellitti – Architect of the Presidency of the Republic (institutional relations expert)
    • Adriana Polveroni – journalist and curator, director of the "Arte in Nuvola" project (Rome)
    • Andrea Cusumano – artistic director (in the year when Gibellina is Italy's contemporary art capital)
  • Moderator: Guido Talarico, director of InsideArt

Main topics: institutional roles in contemporary art, balancing creative freedom with public support, heritage policies and cultural development models.
