The Fondazione Musei Senesi has launched the FMS Academy, a programme for recent graduates under 30 that pairs classroom training with practical internships at several museums within the Siena network. The initiative aims to strengthen operational skills in cultural heritage management, communication and public engagement.
The initial phase of the Academy includes about one month of lectures and workshops led by sector professionals. Key training areas include:
Internships start with a six-month period, extendable for an additional six months. The project is financed by the Tuscany regional FSE+ 2021–2027 programme under the Giovanisì initiative and involves local authorities and territorial partners.

The FMS Academy provides a practical entry route into the cultural heritage sector, integrating conservation, communication and education. It also promotes cooperation among local museum institutions and the exchange of skills and joint projects.
