Siderno: 4th Pizza DOC Festival

From 11 to 13 October 2024, Siderno will host the 4th Pizza DOC Festival, an event focused on artisanal pizza and the culinary specialties of the area. The festival takes place in Piazza Portosalvo and offers three evenings of food and entertainment.

Organised by Vincenzo Fotia together with the Accademia Nazionale Pizza DOC, the event highlights traditional pizza prepared both in classic styles and through exclusive creations made for the festival.

• Participants: ten local pizzerias presenting dedicated menus.
• Menu format: each pizzeria will offer four traditional pizzas plus a "special edition" created specifically for the festival.
• Guests and demonstrations: notable figures such as Errico Porzio, Salvatore Lioniello and Antonella Amodio will take part, featuring show-cooking and guided tastings.
• Atmosphere: evening entertainment, live performances and music to complement the tastings.

The Pizza DOC Festival aims to celebrate local products, tradition and the creativity of pizza makers. It is an opportunity to meet pizza artisans, sample a variety of interpretations and attend practical demonstrations and tastings.
