The Centro Studi Osvaldo Licini and the Municipality of Monte Vidon Corrado present Epochè. Truth and vision in the art logic, a solo exhibition of Paolo Gobbi on view at the Casa Museo Osvaldo Licini from 28 March to 10 May 2026. The concise installation, located in the cellar and first-floor rooms, features forty recent paintings and graphic works.

The exhibition title evokes an intellectual discipline in composition: Gobbi employs an essential visual language to build geometries of memory, often interrupted or animated by a lyrical, refined palette. The works provoke inner images and archetypal impressions through layered materials, translucencies and polymorphic marks.

Artist profile

Born in San Severino Marche in 1959, Paolo Gobbi graduated in Painting from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Macerata, where he has taught since 1998. His career spans material assemblages, site-specific spatial projects and, more recently, a strict pictorial investigation on canvas, paper and metal that merges technical experimentation with formal restraint.
