From 15 May to 9 October 2026, Galleria L'Attico in Rome presents Natura Madre, a solo exhibition by Roman artist Luca Padroni. Curated by Fabio Sargentini and Elsa Agalbato, the show offers a pictorial and site-specific journey that encourages reflection on individual and collective relationships with nature.
Padroni stages a theatrical setting within the gallery: a large canvas depicts a pond where a real crocodile approaches to drink, while an adjacent room features a forest drawn directly on the walls inhabited by an elephant. These works are part of his recent exploration—notably the "Giungle" series—focused on natural landscapes, animal life, and personal memory.
Born in Rome in 1973, Padroni is known for the interplay between realism and abstraction in his paintings and for his attention to both natural and urban landscapes. His notable participations include the Quadriennale di Roma and the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy in London.
Visitor tips: the exhibition is ideal for those seeking an immersive contemporary painting experience; the gallery layout favors close engagement with the works. For group visits or guided tours contact the gallery to confirm availability and times.
