From 28 March to 24 May 2026, Mirad'Or in Pisogne on Lake Iseo stages the exhibition "Nanni Valentini. Face and Place", presenting a selection of works that highlight the artist's dialogue with materiality and landscape.
The display, spread between Mirad'Or and the Church of Santa Maria della Neve, features a core of stoneware pieces — including some presented for the first time — where cracks, incisions and voids become expressive elements to explore themes of face, place and memory. The show emphasises Valentini's ability to make earth speak through sculptural language that is both visionary and reflective.
Curators and partners
Organised by the Municipality of Pisogne, the exhibition is overseen by Flaminio Gualdoni and Marco Lagorio, with collaboration from the Nanni Valentini Archive, ABC - ARTE (Genoa/Milan) and MUSMA (Museum of Contemporary Sculpture, Matera).
