From 17 to 19 April 2026 Teatro Massimo in Cagliari hosts "Spring Magic", an intensive harp workshop focused on the Suzuki Method. The event brings together 25 young harpists from across Italy for three days of ensemble practice, musical activities and sessions designed for children learning the harp.
The workshop is organised by the Arpeggiando musical association under the artistic direction of Tiziana Loi, a harp teacher recognised at European level. Participating schools come from Turin, Bolzano, Bologna, Trieste and several locations in Sardinia.
The Suzuki approach encourages musical learning from early childhood through listening, imitation and parental involvement. It supports concentration, discipline and sensitivity as well as musical skills. The presence of participants as young as five years old highlights the method's inclusivity.
The three days conclude with a public concert on Sunday 19 April at 11:00 in Hall M2 of Teatro Massimo. Admission to the concert is free.
"Spring Magic" offers families a chance to see how ensemble music and the Suzuki Method introduce children to musical practice in an engaging and supportive way.
