Green Fair in Bari: three days dedicated to the energy transition

When: 14-16 May 2026

Where: Fiera del Levante, Lungomare Starita 4, Bari, Italy

The inaugural Green Fair is a national platform focused on the energy transition and the strategic role of Southern Italy in renewable development. The event brings together institutions, companies, research centres and citizens, featuring more than 170 speakers and nearly 80 organisations.

Main topics

  • Energy autonomy and security
  • Agrivoltaics and landscape integration
  • Onshore and offshore wind
  • Battery energy storage systems (BESS) and energy markets
  • Green hydrogen and biomethane
  • Permitting and authorization procedures for large plants
  • Energy communities, building efficiency and integrated photovoltaics
  • Technical training and technology transfer

Program and format

The schedule includes over 40 sessions—technical panels, round tables and company talks—organised into two main thematic areas: environmental aspects and industrial/market perspectives. The opening day features an inaugural ceremony and an institutional round table on renewables' contribution to energy security and autonomy.

Participation and practical information

Admission is free and open to the public, schools, businesses, operators and institutions, but prior registration is required. Check the organiser's official website for registration and the full programme.

Organiser: Meeting Planner. The event is held with the patronage of national and local authorities and involves regional partners including the Apulia Region, Municipality of Bari and Nuova Fiera del Levante.

Practical tips: review the programme to pick sessions of interest, arrive early on busy days and confirm registration rules for school groups and delegations.
